About the FACCS Master Inservice Program

Professional Learning for Educators and School Personnel

The FACCS Master Inservice Program provides professional learning opportunities for administrators, teachers, and school support personnel serving participating schools. The program is designed to help educators develop, update, and strengthen the professional skills and competencies needed to effectively serve their schools.

Professional Development for the Whole School

The Master Inservice Program is available to both certified and non-certified personnel. Florida certified educators can use approved inservice training toward professional certificate renewal, while other school personnel can build a documented record of professional development as part of their professional training history.

Training Built Around School Needs

Professional development is most effective when it addresses the needs of the schools and educators being served. The FACCS Master Inservice Program provides a framework for identifying training needs, developing professional learning opportunities, and evaluating existing programs. Programs are reviewed regularly to keep pace with educational research, new methodologies, and emerging technology.

Practical Professional Learning

The program emphasizes meaningful professional development through workshops, demonstrations, classroom applications, observations, mentoring, and other activities designed to connect professional learning with educational practice.

Supporting Professional Growth

Approved inservice activities may provide points that can be used toward Florida professional certificate renewal. The program also supports professional development for administrators, teachers, and staff in areas including professional competencies, current educational issues, educational practices, and school improvement.
